  • Her drag mother is Vanessa Ryan. She mentored her through her college years in Indiana.

  • Initially, Silky Nutmeg decided to chose the drag name “Lasagna Frozeen”.  It was her mother who dubbed her “Silky”. Later, it was while she watching a show on Food Network, she heard the word Ganache and overheard the phrase silky ganache which eventually led to her choosing the name “Silky Nutmeg Ganache”.
  • Over the years, Silky Nutmeg Ganache has won several pageants which include Miss Gay Indiana University 2014, Miss Unlimited Newcomer 2015, and Miss Latina Continental Plus 2017. She also performed drag at other places which include Hydrate, Roscoe’s Tavern, Splash, and Berlin in Boystown.
